Fashion Show tickets on sale

Tickets are available from Animal, Hudson + Hudson, New Look and Tony Pryce Sports at Queens Arcade or from Oceana Nightclub.

Tickets for the Queens Arcade Fashion Show at Oceana in aid of George Thomas Hospice have gone on sale at the Centre.

On Sunday 22^nd November at 7.30pm the doors open at Oceana Nightclub on a glamorous and exciting night of fashion and fun – all in aid of Cardiff’s George Thomas Hospice.

Staff from the Queens Arcade’s top fashion retailers have been spending weeks honing their looks; choosing outfits and accessories and on the hunt for models, working to create a great show for guests.  The shops taking part include: Animal, Bravissimo, Christopher George, Hudson + Hudson, La Senza, New Look, Shuropody, Tony Pryce Sports and Triumph, with fantastic support from Argos, Millies Cookies and Supercuts.

Hannah Hill, of Hudson + Hudson is overall director of the show having had huge experience at arranging such events.  She says, “The staff at participating shops are all getting really excited pulling Christmas outfits together and working out which looks to send down the runway.  They are really getting into the swing of things; it should be a terrific show.”

Nick Beckett, General Manager of the Centre, “The Fashion Show has been several months in the making but now it is really coming together.  We are thrilled that our shops have taken to the idea and are really starting to make it theirs.

“Nearly 40 of Cardiff’s bubbliest and most outgoing guys, girls and kids will be strutting their stuff having been through a rigorous casting call at Oceana over the past couple of weeks.  Bravissimo has also been searching for bold ladies who are prepared to show off their curves on the catwalk and we are really looking forward to celebrating Cardiff style as modelled by Cardiff’s finest!”

“We have some surprising participants and routines that will really blow the audience away – I’m especially looking forward to the routine from Argos, the special guests appearing for Tony Pryce Sports and the contribution from Christopher George Jewellers!

Nick continued, “Tickets are just £8 each and have been on sale since the weekend.  We urge all budding fashionistas, the style-conscious and those who would like a great night out that will also benefit charity, to come along to Queens Arcade and buy their ticket – they are going fast!”
